Digital bank start-up Atom partners with recruiter NRG

The move will see NRG – which operates in several sectors including IT and technology, manufacturing, science and energy as well as financial services – provide services including project management, attracting staff, resourcing and assessment, management referencing and vetting.

The Atom Bank will launch in 2015 for retail and business customers, subject to regulatory approval. The bank will initially employ 170 staff, but this number is expected to grow to 420 within a few years. 

Recruitment is under way in staged phases, with start dates scheduled throughout this year and into 2015 for roles in finance, risk and customer engagement.
