The workshops, run by experienced recruiters, offer advice on preparing CVs and cover letters, job searching and interview techniques, such as the importance of what to wear to an interview and how to come across, including the use of a firm handshake.
Amy Holland, graduate recruitment leader for REED NCFE at the University of Greenwich, told Recruiter that “many students don’t realise looking for a job can actually be a job in itself”, so REED NCFE have an on-site team at the university and run the workshops which students “elect to take part in”.
Employment provider REED’s partnership with registered educational charity NCFE offers a flexible solution for colleges and universities looking to support their students from learning into work.
