Financials: SThree gross profits increase

SThree, the international specialist staffing business, said its gross profit (GP) for the half year ended 1 June 2014 increased 13% from the same period last year.

SThree, the international specialist staffing business, said its gross profit (GP) for the half year ended 1 June 2014 increased 13% from the same period last year.
In a trading update posted on the company website, SThree revealed GP of £100.9m, higher than the £91.6m posted in the previous year.
Contract GP, which now accounts for 60% of the total, climbed 22% at constant currency to £60.8m.
According to the firm, 70% of GP is now generated in markets outside UK & Ireland, compared to 69% last year.
