Tue, 20 May 2014Over half (52%) of UK businesses are struggling to find the right talent, resulting in half of hires over the last two years not fully meeting their original job specification, according to a recent report from Talent Party, a recruitment marketplace for talent.

The ‘Revamping recruitment in the UK’ survey finds that inefficient recruitment processes are pushing businesses to compromise on the quality of candidates they hire, with 46% of respondents citing that the process simply takes too long. In almost half of cases (48%) it takes more than two months to recruit someone.

Talent Party launches in the UK today, and aims to help recruiters by allowing them to spend less time on trying to place candidates in roles that don’t yet exist, and more time on converting live opportunities and building relationships with candidates.
