Specialist recruitment firm Ford & Stanley has acquired UK Sigma Consulting, an automotive and engineering recruiter.

The acquisition sees Alison Ward, UK Sigma’s founder, join the board of directors at Ford & Stanley. She will also work in the business’s manufacturing and automotive department.

Phillip Machell, Ford & Stanley’s managing director, said the purchase did not signal the end of Ford & Stanley’s acquisition plans in the short and medium term. The company opened new headquarters in Derby in January.
