Capita secures £1.1bn worth of new sales wins

An interim management statement from staffing and support services giant Capita shows the company has secured £1.1bn of major new sales wins to date in 2014.

An interim management statement from staffing and support services giant Capita shows the company has secured £1.1bn of major new sales wins to date in 2014.
Of these new sales wins, Capita will handle staffing services for the contracts with Transport for London (TFL), Scottish Wide Area Network (SWAN), John Lewis and the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
To date this year, Capita has also acquired six complementary businesses for a total consideration of £201m, taking them into new market segments such as domestic mortgage processing and extending their capabilities in IT.
