The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) has adopted the Freelance & Contractor Services Association’s (FCSA) code of conduct as the basis for its umbrella company members’ annual compliance review process.
The trade association has also expanded its compliance procedures to include an international questionnaire for all providers that offer similar services outside the UK.
APSCo’s international compliance questionnaire, which all affiliate members providing services outside of the UK will be required to complete before membership is granted, will offer reassurance that they show no obvious hallmarks of practices which might be in breach of tax or other laws.
