Thu, 3 Apr 2014WatsonCollard, a recruitment-to-recruitment, consulting and training services company, has launched in Melbourne, Australia.

The new company is a partnership between directors Craig Watson and Luke Collard, previously owners and operators of the franchises of Scott Recruitment, a long-standing rec-to-rec business in Australia.

Collard tells Recruiter that as well as WatsonCollard being a completely separate entity (“we are no longer associated with Scott Recruitment”) but continuing to provide rec-to-rec services, “we are also going to be offering our clients consulting and training services”.

“The business is very social media centric – both in terms of using our own social media presence and brand to access approximately 30% more candidates than our competitors can (via our blog The Written Reference, Twitter following and other channels) – and at the same time helping recruitment agencies build the same capability into their business through our consulting and training services.”
