Aberdeen-based Prodrill Energy Resource Solutions has been appointed as a preferred supplier of personnel services to international energy company Statoil for drilling and well services.

The contract, which will initially run for a two-year period, will see Prodrill help predominantly in sourcing contractors, as the Norwegian operator and its partners move to progress project development in the Northern North Sea’s Mariner field, and potentially the Bressay field.
