Freelancer.com, the global freelancing, outsourcing and crowdsourcing marketplace, has acquired Warrior Forum, a marketplace and forum for digital marketing professionals, for $3.2m (£1.9m).

Freelancer.com, the global freelancing, outsourcing and crowdsourcing marketplace, has acquired Warrior Forum, a marketplace and forum for digital marketing professionals, for $3.2m (£1.9m).

Warrior Forum is comprised of internet marketers, online entrepreneurs, growth hackers and technology specialists. The user base includes vice presidents, chief marketing and chief growth officers from internet companies round the world.

Freelancer.com says Warrior Forum will run as an independent site, post-acquisition, with its new parent contributing resources and a dedicated team to help fuel further development of the community site.
