Thu, 24 Apr 2014The number of people working in the City [of London] is predicted to rise to almost half a million over the next decade, according to a new study.

The report by economics consultancy Oxford Economics predicts that City job numbers will rise by 9% to 485,400 by 2023.

Financial services will remain the largest employer in 2023, with more than 166,000 staff, followed by professional services 148,600 up by 30,000.
