With its headquarters in Edinburgh, Nick Middleton, manager of Head Resourcing in Leeds, believes citing the company’s North of England base in the city “is a significant step for us”.

Head Resourcing’s chairman Martin Ewart, a former MD with Logica and the ex-head of group technology at HBOS, which had a major presence in Yorkshire, agrees that the area is a great place to do business: “I know from my own experience there are a lot of highly qualified people in the market and also coming out of the regional universities. We are seeing good career prospects in Yorkshire.”
