Fri, 7 Mar 2014Arriva, the European transport group, is to take on 80 new apprentices this year across its UK and mainland Europe operations.

Apprentices can choose to develop expertise and build a career in a variety of specialisms, from mechanical and electrical engineering through to customer service and management.

How apprentices develop and the exact training they will receive depends on which part of Arriva they join. To help make their choices, Arriva has launched a new one-stop website, arrivaearlycareers.com.

Prospective apprentices can view available programmes, watch profile videos of Arriva's current apprentices and find out what opportunities are available to them.

Charlie Reeve, head of early career programmes, says: "We knew we needed to make it easier for people to find out what we offer and where their early career adventure could start; that's why we've launched our digital campaign around making and sharing adventures.”
