Thu, 20 Feb 2014Impellam Group says it expects to make a loss of £22.8m from two long-term contacts entered into by Carlisle Support Services.
Problems with the two contracts came to light in December 2013 when Impellam told the City they had proved to be “operationally complex, badly-priced and financially onerous”.
Impellam said at the time that the two contracts would result in the company losing some £13m. However, in a statement issued today, Impellam says it expects additional operating losses of £9.8m from one of the two contracts over its remaining four years. This brings the loss on the two contracts to £22.8m.
