Global international career management business Global Insight’s Global Job Market Barometer shows that positive economic and job market news increased from 69% in October 2013 to 100% in December 2013 in New Zealand.

In contrast, in Australia the Barometer fell from 40% positive economic news in October to just 11% in December.

According to Global Career Link: “New Zealanders should go into the year confident that the local job market will increasingly turn in favour of the jobseeker” but it adds “the Australian job market is not flash right now”.
