New regional CEOs appointed to lead SThree’s overseas push

International professional recruiter SThree has promoted senior staff Justin Hughes and Steven Quinn to newly-created regional chief executive officer positions for its global operations.

Hughes, who joined the company’s Progressive brand in 1994 and joined the board on 1 June 2012, becomes regional CEO for Asia-Pacific and MENA (Middle East and North Africa), while retaining the title of managing director for SThree Asia-Pacific.
Quinn, who also joined Progressive in 1999, and was appointed to the board as chief operations officer the same day as Hughes, is regional CEO for the Americas.
The company's annual results to 1 December 2013 showed 69% of group gross profit generated outside of the UK, with the Americas growing 32% year-on-year.
