The deal is expected to be completed within 60 days. Terms were not disclosed, but Johnson executives will remain with the firm. Johnson focuses on the financial services, legal and professional services, technology and communications, consumer and industrial sectors.

CTPartners chief executive officer Brian Sullivan noted "the stellar reputation" of Johnson's founder and managing partner, Jason Johnson, and his team in the Australian and pan-Asian markets.

“They understand the need to deliver quality executive search and leadership solutions for their clients and they will complement our strong presence in the region. This acquisition will provide a competitive advantage for our clients and offer enhanced opportunities for both firms.”
