Carruthers is new CEO at disability employment service Remploy

Beth Carruthers will become the new chief executive officer of Remploy, the provider of employment services for people with disabilities, on 1 January.

Beth Carruthers will become the new chief executive officer of Remploy, the provider of employment services for people with disabilities, on 1 January.

Carruthers has been the director of Remploy’s Employment Services business since 2005, having initially joined the company in 2000.

The organisation found work for 17,835 disabled and disadvantaged people in the year to 31 March, and is going through a period of substantial change.

She succeeds Tim Matthews, who leaves the CEO post when his five-year contract finishes at the end of this month. Among his new occupations will be a role as adviser to job site strike-jobs.co.uk.
