US healthcare recruiter AMN Healthcare Services has acquired ShiftWise, a national provider of healthcare workforce solutions, including the ShiftWise vendor management system (VMS) platform.

AMN has 12 recruitment brands, operates several online job portals and had revenues of $954m (£590m) in 2012, up 7.6% on the previous year.
