Oil recruiter Swift acquired by Wellspring Capital Management

Oil & gas recruiter Swift Worldwide Resources has been acquired by New York-based private equity firm Wellspring Capital Management.
Tue, 5 Nov 2013Oil & gas recruiter Swift Worldwide Resources has been acquired by New York-based private equity firm Wellspring Capital Management.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although Swift’s management team have invested in the company alongside Wellspring, after its sale from Gresham Private Equity. Gresham had backed Swift’s 2006 management buy-out.

Swift was not able to provide any further comment this morning, as all enquiries were being directed to its Houston head office, several time zones behind the UK, but check back on recruiter.co.uk for more reaction from the company.

This comes after Monday's news of New York private investor New Mountain Capital acquiring RPO firm Alexander Mann Solutions for £260m.
