Wed, 27 Nov 2013The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has dismissed a complaint against oil & gas recruiter NES Global Talent, questioning whether a job vacancy was genuine.

NES sent an email to a selection of individuals advertising contract roles for senior project engineers with a client in Aberdeen.

The complainant did not believe the vacancy was genuine and challenged whether the email was misleading, the ASA says, given in particular that it had not appeared on the NES website.

NES provided documentation to show that the roles did exist, the complaint was not upheld and no further action was deemed necessary by the ASA.
