Wed, 20 Nov 2013Restaurant chain McDonald’s UK has teamed up with Jobcentre Plus and training firm learndirect on a pilot scheme for young people called ‘How to Get Hired’.

The first How to Get Hired workshop sessions was held in a McDonald’s restaurant in Brixton, South London last week, with unemployed young people getting CV, interview and job hunting tips.

A further two sessions will be held this year in Nottingham and Swindon, with the trio of organisers then looking to potentially extend the scheme across the UK in 2014.

McDonald’s has previously put employing emerging talent and training them at the forefront of its recruitment agenda.
