Thu, 28 Nov 2013Emma Mirrington, currently head of talent at Mars Chocolate and director of The Forum for In-House Recruitment Managers (The FIRM), is to move to Capita-owned resourcing firm Write Research as talent director.
Mirrington, who has also worked for BSkyB and Unilever in previous recruitment positions, takes up the role in January.
Write Research identifies and maintains relationships with high-performing individuals, currently in employment but who may not be actively looking for a new role, helping clients to create a pipeline of candidates from which to recruit. It delivers this via sophisticated research techniques and candidate relationship management technology.
The part-time position will allow Mirrington to fulfil her role with The FIRM alongside the day job.
Write Research chair Glen Hall says: “Emma blends confidence with intelligence and the keen humility to continually learn – she has a genuine and sincere desire to change recruitment for the good and for the many.”
Write Research was acquired by Capita at the end of October and incorporated into Capita Managed Services. It has a staff of around 30 based in Leeds, London and Newcastle.
The FIRM formed as a LinkedIn group in December 2007, and now has over 6,000 members in 52 countries.
