And now (because it’s Friday) for something completely different: how about a margarita?

Fri, 1 Nov 2013A study has found what many people already know in their heart of hearts – the weekend starts on Friday.
To quote US author Amy Neftzger on the subject: “It’s 4.58 on Friday afternoon. Do you know where your margarita is?”
However, a study by airline BA reveals that the weekend begins even earlier, at 2.39pm precisely as workers mentally down tools and switch off.
The study found that six out of 10 UK office workers ease off on a Friday.
But despite spending the final hours of their working week (should that be 4.5 days?) on Facebook and arranging the weekend’s social arrangements, 80% say their bosses are still getting value for money.
The study reveals that the average worker puts three things on hold until Monday morning.
Let’s just hope that BA’s own pilots don’t feel the same way…
