LinkedIn has launched Recruiter Mobile, a mobile version of its flagship recruiting product - its first app designed specifically for recruiters.

The app enables recruiters to access all of Recruiter's features, including viewing the profiles of LinkedIn's network of 238m professionals, managing talent pipelines and replying to candidate messages.

The app is available through the Apple app store and mobile web today, and is free to existing users of LinkedIn Recruiter.

In August this year, LinkedIn added an ‘Apply' button, already available on the regular desktop version of the site, to its mobile web, and Android and Apple apps.

The recruitment industry has put increasing focus on mobile offerings of late. Job site Monster launched a new mobile-optimised site in July 2013, after recent research found almost half of candidates use their mobile or tablet to research jobs and employers online.
