Tue, 1 Oct 2013A new community for senior-level human resources (HR) executives who previously served in the military has been launched by HR recruiter Oakleaf Partnership

Oakleaf founder and managing partner Richard Colgan served in the British Army for nine years, including eight as an infantry officer. He told the audience at the launch event last Thursday night (26 September) that HR executives who had experienced first hand the military tradition of instilling leadership abilities into its members could make a difference to UK plc by setting the standard for, and driving, improved leadership.

“You can drive real change at the heart of the British economy,” Colgan said.

Hosted at the charity Help for Heroes’ West End office, the launch event, attended by Recruiter, drew executives from blue-chip UK organisations.
