Workforce solutions and services firm System One, based in Pennsylvania, has acquired New Jersey-based multi-sector staffing firm Joulé.

Joulé and its subsidiaries will now operate as divisions of System One, with the combined company having revenues approaching $500m (£320m), with over 6,000 staff and around 40 offices across the US, making it likely to be one of the five largest US engineering staffing firms, System One says.
“Exceptional synergies exist between System One and Joulé,” said Troy Gregory, chief executive officer of System One. “Not only do our business lines and geographic location perfectly complement each other, but our entrepreneurial cultures with tenured staff also contribute to the excitement about our collective future.”
Both companies have been running for more than 30 years.
System One is privately held and the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
