Fri, 6 Sep 2013Korn/Ferry International continues to move more towards being a talent solutions provider rather than a pure executive search firm, the company’s chief confirms, “making our brand more elastic”.
The firm’s results for the three months to 31 July, available online, show 40% of revenue coming from its talent management offerings, including its subsidiary Futurestep, whose UK managing director told recruiter.co.uk in June it was becoming more “powerful” as it and the parent company diversified.
The news comes as revenues for the quarter came in at $228.4m (£146.7m), up 22% compared to the same period last year, or up 7% when acquisitions are factored out. Executive recruitment revenues grew 7%, while other businesses’ revenue grew by 11%.
Korn/Ferry also saw net income of $16m in the period, compared to $10.4m in the same three months last year.
CEO Gary D Burnison comments on the business’ diversification: “Today’s businesses are increasingly borderless and knowledge-based, and asking their workforce to do much more, with much less.
“Korn/Ferry is transforming its business, helping organisations navigate this complex environment by linking their business and talent strategies.”
