Tue, 27 Aug 2013Carlton Senior Appointments, an executive recruitment brand within the Phaidon International Group, has opened an office in New York – and is looking at a Singapore opening in September.
The move follows three years of trading in Europe since the brand’s launch in 2010. Both New York and Singapore are established bases among the other seven brands under the Phaidon umbrella.
The Carlton team in the US will initially focus on mid-senior level hires across the investment, investment banking department (IBD) and strategy spaces.
The US team will be led by Shireen Mohammad as head of Carlton Senior Appointments US. She has been with the company for three years.
The Singapore base will also be led by an internal transfer from the UK, with a spokesperson for the firm telling recruiter.co.uk that the general rule with overseas openings is to start hiring locally once the office is established, to balance the need for local knowledge and cultural understanding while maintaining the Phaidon method and ethos.
