The company says the new office will also act as a hub between existing London and Milton Keynes branches as it looks to extend its geographical spread in the South of England.

Regional manager Paul Hipkiss comments: “It’s all part of Meridian’s Vision 2020 strategy to continually develop new specialisms and find the right candidates to fill niche roles, as we continue to grow as one of the UK’s leading recruiters.”

Meridian has 80 branches and 340 direct staff across the UK, and according to its website places more than 6,000 candidates in temp jobs and 2,500 in permanent roles annually.
