London recruiter Rochester Global acquired by US firm ApTask

New Jersey-headquartered staffing firm ApTask has acquired London-based Rochester Global, a professional recruiter working throughout Europe and Africa in the provision of IT and engineering staff.

Rochester provides IT and engineering technical staff. ApTask chief executive officer Joseph Butler says this additional service “will be extremely valuable to existing ApTask clients seeking to better manage the temporary segment of their global workforce”.

Rochester will serve as ApTask’s European and African HQ. The office will continue to be led by director Mustaq Rajan, while recruiting and client delivery is managed by ApTask director of recruiting Abdulla Sheikh.

Sheikh will also oversee the integration of Rochester’s clients into the extended services offered.
