A charity that provides interview coaching and formal clothing for women on low incomes, which has attracted celebrity support, is expanding under the new brand of Smart Works.

Dress for Success London, whose patrons include actress and comedian Jennifer Saunders, and which has received support from A-listers Sophie Dahl and Rachel Weisz, as well as Samantha Cameron and various other celebrities, is now known as Smart Works.
The charity has launched a website and is due to open a West London office in addition to its existing base in North London, and chief executive officer Delyth Evans says the new name “marks an important period of growth… [and] grants us the freedom to build our relationships right across the UK to help low-income women to the very best of our ability”.
The charity helps around 1,200 jobseeker clients every year, around 45% of whom are single mothers, and in the past year has taken referrals from organisations including various charities, colleges, jobcentres, NHS trusts, welfare-to-work providers and other private businesses and social enterprises, as listed on the Smart Works website.
