IT’s a knockout, finds CareerBuilder list of hard-to-fill roles

Computing and IT jobs are among the positions which typically take the longest to fill across the globe, finds a survey from job site CareerBuilder.
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Computing and IT jobs are among the positions which typically take the longest to fill across the globe, finds a survey from job site CareerBuilder.

The report lists six roles that take the most time to fill in 10 big markets, based on responses from more than 5,000 human resources professionals and hiring managers globally.

Of the 10 markets, France is the sole country in which an IT manager or network administrator position does not appear amongst the hard-to-fill half dozen. Computer programmers take a long time to hire in seven of the 10 markets, France, Germany and the US being the exceptions.
