Mon, 17 Jun 2013Having already recruited remotely in Ireland from its UK base, technology recruiter GCS Recruitment Specialists has opened a physical office in Dublin.

The company’s Ireland manager Tim Dunne reports “a marked increase in technology vacancies” in the country, suggesting that the IT industry “could well be the key to bringing Ireland out of the recession”.

Ireland is a popular venue for multinational firms’ European or EMEA hubs – recent announcements of overseas companies investing and creating jobs in the country include computing firm EMC, tech firms Merchant Warehouse and Squarespace, and insurer Zurich, creating two Dublin IT hubs.

GCS’s pre-existing offices are in London and Reading.
