The second reading debate is scheduled for 24 January next year.

The introduction of the bill follows unconfirmed reports that the government plans to close down the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate.

The bill is sponsored by Andy Sawford, Labour MP for Corby and East Northamptonshire. Recruiter.co.uk tried to contact Sawford but he was not available for comment.
