Cross Country Healthcare, a US-based healthcare staffing provider, has appointed William J Grubbs president, chief operating officer and director of the company, effective 1 April.

Chief executive officer Joseph A Boshart will remain in his role until he retires in July, when Grubbs will become CEO of the company.

Grubbs was previously executive vice president and COO of staffing company TrueBlue, and before that held various senior executive positions, including COO with temporary staffing organisation SFN Group.
