Online recruitment group Monster Worldwide has appointed Matt Anchin to the newly-created position of senior vice president for global communications.

He will be responsible for managing corporate communications, business and consumer media relations and social media and report to chief marketing officer Ted Gilvar.

He joins from information and analytics company Nielsen, where he held a similar role, and has also worked for American Express and IBM.
