Recruitment group Kelly Services has taken on new national sales director Laura Van Zyl, sales and business development manager Ian Hetherington and national key account manager Simon Atherton.

In addition, the firm’s outsourcing and consulting group Kelly OCG takes on new sales consultant director Paul Habgood.

Atherton, who has worked for Kelly Services for over 10 years, is promoted from a district manager role and will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s business pipeline.

Habgood previously worked for both hyphen and Hays, and is charged with developing “a strong pipeline of opportunities into long-term profitable workforce solutions contracts”.

Hetherington will work with existing clients at the firm’s professional and technical division “to offer managed services, as well as targeting new business opportunities”. He previously worked with engineering recruiter TXM Recruit.

Van Zyl joins from staffing firm Impellam Group, where she was in charge of public services recruitment services for the last two years. In her new position, sitting on the UK executive leadership team, she will build the sales team and “implement a robust sales strategy”, according to a company press release.
