FINANCIALS: Matchtech NFI up 8%

Specialist engineering and professional services recruiter Matchtech increased its net fee income (NFI) by 8% to £18.5m in the six months ending 31 January 2013 compared with same period in the previous year, according to a company trading update.

Specialist engineering and professional services recruiter Matchtech increased its net fee income (NFI) by 8% to £18.5m in the six months ending 31 January 2013 compared with same period in the previous year, according to a company trading update.
Engineering NFI rose 7% to £11.6m, while professional services saw its NFI 15% higher at £6.9m. Contract NFI accounted for 71% of NFI and permanent the remaining 29%, compared to 67% and 33% respectively for the first half of 2012.
Looking ahead, the company says: “Our robust business model, sector diversification and developing international capability all continue to give the board confidence in the future prospects for the group.”
