Recruitment and outsourcing group Harvey Nash says that its results for the year to 31 January 2013 will be slightly ahead of expectations, with revenues growing by over 10% and gross profit by just under 2%.

Total revenue will be around £590m, compared to £533m in the previous year, while £80m gross profit contrasts with £78.5m in 2012.

The firm says: “Demand for highly skilled technology professionals has created skills shortages in the mobile and digital segments of the technology market. Clients, particularly in Europe, have continued to favour flexible contract and temporary hiring over permanent and executive recruitment.”
