Hertfordshire County Council is to adopt recruitment technology from talent management solutions firm Lumesse and newspaper The Guardian for its permanent recruitment needs.

Alongside its technology partner, outsourcing firm Serco, the council is in the process of bringing its permanent recruitment services back in-house as part of a Transforming Recruitment Programme. Currently, it has around 1,000 vacancies annually.

The deployment will be managed by The Guardian and will deliver a new recruitment system and processes early next year based around Lumesse’s TalentLink solution, integrated with Guardian Jobs and social media channels.
