Cornish financial management firm, the Money Group, has launched a recruitment drive to hire 300 workers for a new call centre in Plymouth, South-West England.

The company, which already employs 205 staff at its Truro base, plans to hire 25 personal finance managers before Christmas, with a view to increasing this figure towards 50, Ben Treleaven, the firm’s business development manager, tells Recruiter. The company wants to recruit about 200 telesales operators, with interviews and training beginning in the New Year, he says.

Since the company launched its recruitment campaign last week, it has already received 300 CVs and hired two personal finance managers, says Treleaven.

The company chose Plymouth because with a larger population than Truro, it was an ideal location to find staff to meet the company’s expansion plans, Treleaven explains.
