Specialist recruitment consultancy IntaPeople has appointed eight new consultants through its training academy.

The new consultants are Ffion Bertie, Ioan Davies, Phil Davies, Tony Ferreira, Sameer Mouti, Kate O'Neill, Richard Torjesen and Niall Trimble. The firm now employs 35, the most in its history.The IntaPeople Academy, launched at the start of 2011, provides a 12-week framework for the training of recruitment consultants. After the new recruits have completed the programme, they will join the company’s IT, engineering or data centre divisions.

Phil Handley, operations director of IntaPeople, says: “It [the academy] means we can train individuals from the ground up, embedding in them a best practice approach to recruitment.”
