Global energy recruiter Spencer Ogden has opened a new office in Hong Kong, its second venture into the Asian continent this year.

This follows the Singapore office, which opened in May, in addition to pre-existing offices in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Houston and London.
The Hong Kong operation will be headed up by ex-Hays China director Emma Charnock.

The company’s chief executive David Spencer-Percival says: "Hong Kong is an exciting set-up for us. It is a city that allows a foothold into China and its colossal energy industry, and China uses Hong Kong as its springboard to the West.”
