Business training firm Quest Professional has appointed Carlie Santoro as a dedicated manager of its new recruitment consultancy.

Santoro joins having worked in Australia as a recruitment and HR consultant with various firms over the past 10 years.
Quest has previously assisted in placing people as interns and apprentices following their training programmes, but Santoro is the first dedicated manager for the new recruitment consultancy.
Santoro says: “I’m tremendously excited to be joining Quest Professional and think that we have a great opportunity to change how employers select their young staff.“Rather than just having the employer’s best interest at heart, my role is to look after the candidate as well, so the emphasis is on ensuring candidates are placed into a role that will suit them long term rather than just for six months.”
Quest director Jo Barnard adds: “Almost three quarters of our apprentices get a full time job within eight weeks of completing our courses and we have successfully coached 1,300 people in the last five years to achieve their first step on the career ladder.
“The growing number of our former apprentices who thrive in careers at these companies suggests attitudes are changing.”
