A total of 89% of UK firms should hire staff in the next 12 months, according to a survey of 108 companies, ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to large firms, by online recruitment firm Webrecruit.

A total of 89% of UK firms should hire staff in the next 12 months, according to a survey of 108 companies, ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to large firms, by online recruitment firm Webrecruit.

Just under half (46%) expected to bring in 10 people or fewer, 18% said they would bring in 11-50 new staff, 7% said 51-100 new staff, 3% said 101-250 new staff and 13% of firms said they planned on making over 250 hires.
