Co-operative mango trader Trops has created 150 new jobs following a €16m (£13m) investment in opening a new plant in the Vélez-Málaga area.

This is according to fresh produce news website FreshPlaza, which reports Trops manager Enrique Colilles as saying the company’s production has doubled.

The website notes that jobs come in warehouse, commercial and administrative roles.
