Global executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has opened a Paris office after taking over local search firm Linkfield Associates.

Linkfield founder Alexandre Fréreau takes on the role of country manager for France at Pedersen, saying that the deal “is strategically the right move for our clients and gives Pedersen & Partners the unique opportunity to enter the French market with clear local know-how”.Fréreau started his career in development and HR functions in the telecoms sector, and has been working in executive search since 1999, initially with Whitehead Mann.

This is the fifth 2012 opening for Pedersen, following Jakarta, Nairobi, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.
