The worst is over, says HBHC's Wolter

Better times lie just around the corner for recruiters, according to the chief executive of Hamilton Bradshaw Human Capital.

Better times lie just around the corner for recruiters, according to the chief executive of Hamilton Bradshaw Human Capital.

Ian Wolter, who is also chief executive of Eden Brown, told Recruiter: “I do think the worst is behind us, and consequently the fear has gone from our markets.

“Now is not a bad time to do business,” says Wolter, who announced that HBHC’s companies are looking to take on around 40 consultants.

Wolter says that social care recruiter Caritas Recruitment, and recruitment, training and managed services company Resourcing Group are currently interviewing for consultants.

However, Wolter adds that HBHC companies have to be careful when taking on experienced consultants from other recruiters. “It is absolutely essential that when we take on experienced consultants we show them, for example, the Eden Brown way of doing things. We don’t want them to bring their old models to Eden Brown.”
