Worcestershire County Council is inviting tenders for the managed supply of temporary workers in a contract worth approximately £6m a year.

Worcestershire County Council is inviting tenders for the managed supply of temporary workers in a contract worth approximately £6m a year.

The supplier will “co-ordinate of all of the Council’s temporary agency needs one point of contact for agency requirements”, according to the official render document.

The county council spent approximately £6m on temporary agency workers during the 2008 to 2009 financial year. This included £1m for admin and clerical staff, £3m for social care and £2m for professional services.

Submissions are due by the 29 May 2009.
